TRANSFER

PURSUANT to Article 184 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, section 48 (1) (a) of the County Governments Act, 2012 and in the exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 (2) (e) and 46 (1) of the 13th October, 2023 THE KENYA GAZETTE County Governments Act, and by a resolution of the County Executive Committee in the meeting held on the 26th September, 2023, I, Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o, Governor, Kisumu County, order and direct: That all the functions outlined in Schedule 4, Part 2 of the Constitution, including the attendant staff, budget and assets be and are hereby transferred from the respective County departments to the City and the Municipalities, with effect from the 2nd October, 2023.
