NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga that pursuant to Standing Order 26 of the County Assembly Standing Orders, on the request of the Leader of Majority Party, I have appointed two special sittings of the County Assembly on Thursday, the 19th October, 2023 as follows: 1. At 11.00 a.m first special sitting for: (a) Tabling of Prepublication report for the Kirinyaga County Finance Bill, 2023. (b) Tabling of Public Participation Report for the Kirinyaga County Investment Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2023. (c) Tabling of the Joint Budget and Appropriation Committee and Finance and Economic Planning Committee Report on the Consideration of the 2024/2025 Financial Year Annual Development Plan. (d) Tabling of the powers and privileges Committee Inquiry Report on the Conduct of Hon. David M. Mathenge. (e) First Reading of the Kirinyaga County Finance Bill, 2023. (f) Second Reading of the Kirinyaga County Investment Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2023. (g) Committee of the Whole County Assembly for Consideration of Amendments to Kirinyaga County Investment Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2023 2. At 2.00 p.m. second special sitting for: (a) Motion for the adoption of the Joint Budget and Appropriation Committee and Finance and Economic Planning Committee Report on the Consideration of the 2024/2025 Financial Year Annual Development Plan. (b) Motion for the adoption of the powers and privileges Committee Inquiry Report on the Conduct of Hon. David M. Mathenge. (c) Third Reading of the Kirinyaga County Investment Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2023. The special sitting shall be held in the County Assembly Chambers, Kerugoya. In accordance with Standing Order 26 (3) of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sittings.
