THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Enos Misigo Shonomoyo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.97 hectares or thereabout, known as North Maragoli/Kegondi/2945, situate in the district of Sabatia, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in Succession Cause No. 122 of 2022, has issued letters of administration in favour of Florence Mmboga Misigo, and whereas the said Florence Mmboga Misigo has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Florence Mmboga Misigo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Enos Misigo Shonomoyo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
