PURSUANT to section 15 of the Schedule to the Constitution as read with section 23 and 24 of Transition to Devolved Government Act, 2012 and further to the Legal Notice No. 16 of 2013 through which the Transitional Authority approved the transfer of functions specified in the Schedule to the County Governments with effect from 9th August, 2013 vide Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 116 (Legislative Supplement No. 51), the County Executive Committee (CEC) Member responsible for Health in Murang’a County in exercise of powers conferred by section 22 (2 (b) of the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act declares the institutions for the purposes of that section.
