THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Mutaru Maina (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.66 hectare or thereabouts, known as Thegenge/Unjiru/998, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. 1307 of 2012, has issued grant of letter intestate to Joseph Maina Mutaru as an administrator and the beneficiary is Moses Maina Mutaru, and whereas the said land title deed issued in earlier to the said John Mutaru Maina (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of transfer by transmission documents L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favour of the said Joseph Maina Mutaru as an administrator and the beneficiary is Moses Maina Mutaru, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said John Mutaru Maina (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
