WHEREAS (1) George Mungwa and (2) Florence Oduo Mungwa, both of P.O. Box 26, Ukwala in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprictors in absolute owncrship interest of those picces of land containing 1.8 and 1.4 hectares or thercabout, situate in the district of Siaya, registered under title Nos. East Ugenya/Anyiko/1705 and 1704, respectively, and whercas sufficicnt evidence has been adduced to show that the land title deeds issued thercof have been lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hercof, I shall issuc new land title decds provided that no objection has been received within that period. ; Dated the 18th February, 2000. Box 442, Thika in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprictor of that picce of land known as parcel No. Loc. 3/Gacharage/193, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas the resident magistrate’s court at Murang’a, in civil suit No. 165 of 1996, has ordered that the said picce of land be transferred to Esther Nyokabi Mwangi, of P.O. Box 79, Miharati, and whereas the executive officer of the said court has in ‘pursuance to an order of the said court executed an instrument of transfer of the said picce of land in favour of Esther Nyokabi Mwangi, of P.O. Box 79, Miharati, and whereas all cfforts made to compe! the registered proprictor to surrendcr the land title deed issucd in respect of the said picce of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the datc hercof provided that no valid objection has becn received within that period, | intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land tithe decd to the said Esther Nyokabi Mwangi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlicr to the said Muigai Kamau, shall be deemed to be cancclicd and of no effect.
