IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Article 88 (4) to the Constitution of Kenya, sections 38, 39 and 55B (1) (5) of the Elections Act, 2011 and Regulation 64A (1) (b) of the Elections (General) Regulations, 2012, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission gives notice that: (a) The elections stated in the Eighth column of the Schedule, which were scheduled to be held on the 9th August, 2022 General Election, shal! be held on Monday, 29th August, 2022. (b) The campaign period for purposes of the 29th August, 2022 elections shall commence on Tuesday, 23rd August, 2022 and cease on Friday, 26th August, 2022 being 48 hours before the election day.
