THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Andericus Adhanja (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 1.2 hectares or thereabout, known as West Kasipul/Kotieno/Kokech/379, situate in the district of Rachuonyo, and whereas the land certificate issued to him on the 6th September, 1976, got lost and the matter reported at Oyugis Police Station and whereas transmission document vide succession cause No. 38 of 2014, at the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Oyugis is ready for registration and whereas efforts to trace the said land certificate have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the instrument of R. L. 19 and R. L. 7 to read (1) Benson Juma Achieng, (2) Kennedy Otieno Ochieng and (3) Kennedy Odongo Achieng, and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said Andericus Adhanja (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect. - Dated the 13th October, 2017.
