GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 10094

NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Murang’a and the general public that pursuant to Standing Order 31 of the Murang’a County Assembly Standing Orders, I have appointed Thursday, 19th October, 2017 as a day for a special sitting of the County Assembly. The special sitting shall be held in the Murang’a County Assembly Chambers, Opposite Ihura Stadium, Murang’a, at 9.00 a.m. . The business to be transacted at the special sitting shall be— (a) adoption of the Report of the Selection Committee on zacinpers to serve in the various Committees pursuant to Standing Order 166 (2) of the Murang’a County Assembly Standing Orders; ' (b) adoption of the Report of the House Business Committee of the calendar for the Assembly for the period November to December, 2017 pursuant to Standing Order 165 (5) (a) of the Murang’a County Assembly Standing Orders; (c) adoption of the Membership of the Chairpersons Panel pursuant to Standing Order 18 (3) of the Murang’a County Assembly Standing Orders; (d) approval of the members of the County Assembly Service Board pursuant to section 12 of the County Governments Act and section 9 (2) and the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act. In accordance with Standing Order 31(5) of the Murang’a County Assembly Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sitting, following which the County Assembly shall stand adjourned until such date that will be by a gazette notice notified in the gazette.
