THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Nelas Wanjiru Maina and (2) Peter Mwangi Maina, as administrators of the estate of James Maina Wambugu (deceased), of P.O. Box 674, Thika in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors of all that piece of land known as L.R. No. 36/III/1027, situate in the city of Nairobi in the Nairobi Area, by virtue of an indenture of conveyance registered in Volume N23 folio 396/8, file 6777, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed and efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the registered proprietor has indemnified against all actions and claims that may be made after reconstruction of the land register, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, 1 intend to proceed with the reconstruction of the land register as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
