THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mutuerandu Bururia alias Mutwerandu Bururia (deceased), is registered as proprietor of those pieces of land situate in the district of Meru, known as Igoji Kiangua/889 and Igoji Mweru 1/550, and whereas the High Court of Kenya in succession cause No. 790 of 2012, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Alice Mucece Kiruja, and whereas the said court has executed land application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 and whereas the title deeds in respect of Mutuerandu Bururia alias Mutwerandu Bururia (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the name of Alice Mucece Kiruja, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Mutuerandu Bururia alias Mutwerandu Bururia (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
