Isaac Nakitare sworn on 28th January, 2022 and annexures thereof: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED: 1. THAT this application be and is hereby certified urgent. 2. THAT an order be and 1s hereby issued for preservation and seizure of cash amounting to USD 977.075 found in possession of the Respondent and currently in the custody authorized officer of the department of the Kenya Revenue Authority responsible for matters relating to customs at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. 3. THAT an order be and is hereby issued directing the authorized officer of the department of the Kenya Revenue Authority responsible for matters relating to customs at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport do surtender the seized funds to the Assets Recovery Agency. 4. THAT the said cash be deposited in the Assets Recovery Agency’s USD bank account held at the Kenya Commercial Bank account number | 292910038. 5. THAT the preservation orders shall remain in force for a period of ninety (90) days as provided in section 84 of the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act (POCAMLA) 6.
