PURSUANT to Article 176 (i) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 as read together with section 12 (1) and 12 (3) (d) of the County Governments Act, 2012 and sections 8 and 9 of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017, the County Assembly of Lamu hereby invites applications from suitably qualified interested candidates, (one male and one female), to serve as members of the County Assembly Service Board. Requirements for Appointment (i) Must be citizen of Kenya; (ii) Holds a degree trom a university recognized in Kenya; (iii) Has at least ten (10) years’ experience in public affairs: and (iv) Meets the requirements of leadership and integrity in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. Application Criteria Persons interested in filling the above positions should submit applications accompanied by certified copies of the following documents. (i) | Certified academic and professional certificates. (ii) A copy of the curriculum vitae (CV). (iii) Certified copy of the Nationa! Identity Card or Passport. Note. Candidates with foreign obtained degrees must obtain recognition and equation of qualification from the Kenya National Qualifications Authority.
