GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 12623

PURSUANT to section 12 (3d) of the County Government Act, 2012 and The County Assembly Service’s Act, 2017, the County Assembly of Nandi is seeking to appoint on part-time basis two members of the public (male and female) to join the Nandi County Assembly Service Board. The Board shall— (a) direct and supervise the administration of the services and facilities provided by, and exercise budgetary control over the Service; (6) determine and review the terms and conditions of service of persons holding or acting in the offices of the service; (c) initiate, co-ordinate and harmonize policies and strategies relating to the development of the service; 5 (d) initiate programs — ari (i) for trainings and capacity building for members and staff of county assembly and other persons; (ii) that promote ideals of parliamentary democracy as set out in article 127 (6) (d) of the constitution; and (iii) that promote public awareness and participation in the activities of the county assembly; and (e) do such other things as may be necessary for the wellbeing of the members and staff of the county assembly.
