THE REGISTRATION OF TITLES ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ahmed s/o Khamis Shapi, of P.O. Box 88812, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in fee simple of that piece of land known as subdivision No. 320, section I, mainland north, situate within Mombasa District, held under certificate of title registered as C.R. No. -1707/1, and whereas the said Ahmed s/o Khamis Shapi has executed a transfer in favour of Mohamed Mahfudh Saad, of P.O. Box 85434, Membasa, and whereas an affidavit has been filed in terms of section 65 (1) (h) of the said Act, declaring that the said certificate of title registered as C.R. No. 1707/1 is not available for registration, notice is given that after fourteen (14) days from the date hereof provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said ‘certificate of title and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer.
