NOTICE is issued pursuant to sections 172, 182 and 185 of the Local Government Act, to all owners of permanent, semi- permanent and/or all other structures in general which are on any road reserves within the local authorities to demolish the structurés within thirty (30) days from the date hereof. However, under section 172 (3) demolition of the said structures -along Langata Road, within the city of Nairobi should be with immediate effect to facilitate the construction of Langata Dual Cartiage Way, and other roads construction works in the city and all towns throughout the country, failing which the Government will take appropriate action without any further notice. For general information, take further notice that this notice shall cover any illegal structures that are built on sewers, drainage and water lines in the city of Nairobi and all other towns in the country. .
