WHEREAS pursuant to section 65 (1) of the Co-operative Societies Act, the Njora Farmers Co-operative Society Limited by at least three-fourths of the members are of the opinion that the society ought to be dissolved. And whereas I am of the opinion that the said society should be dissolved. Now therefore pursuant to section 65 (1) of the said Act, I cancel the registration of the society and order that it be liquidated. Any member of the society may within two (2) months of the date of this order, appeal to the Minister for Co-operative Development against the order. If no such appeal is presented within the time the order shall take effect upon expiry thereof. And further pursuant to section 69, of the said Act, I appoint M/s. Kigo Njenga and Co., Certified Public Accountants, P.O. Box 6865, Nairobi, to be liquidator and authorise him to take into his custody all the property of the society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for completion of the liquidation. No. 29/6/24, Baba Dogo Road, Nairobi has as from the 30th January, 1998, been sold and transferred to Black and Beauty Products Limited. The address of the transferor is P.O. Box 46737, Nairobi. The address of the transferee is P.O. Box 651, Village Market, Nairobi. : All the debts or liabilities due and owing by the transferor in respect of the said business upto and including the 29th January, 1998, shall be received and paid by the transferor. The transferee is not assuming nor is it intended to assume any liabilities whatsoever incurred by the transferor in the said business upto and including the 29th January, 1998.
