WHEREAS Francis Ayieko Orangi, is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership interest_of that piece of land containing 0.16 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kisii, registered under title No. West Kitutu/Bomatara/1982, and whereas sufficient evidence -has been adduced to show that the land title deed issued thereof has been lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I shall issue a new land title deed provided that no objection has been received within that period. ; Dated the 19th June, 1998. Box 23068, Nyathuna, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as parcel No. Kabete/Gikuni/T.209, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas the principal magistrate’s court at Kiambu, in civil) suit No. 145 of 1997, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Mary Wangechi Muigai, of P.O.Box 23068, Nyathuna, and whereas the executive officer of the court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed a transfer of the said piece of land in favour of Mary Wangechi Muigai, of P.O. Box 23068, Nyathuna, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said transmission (R.L. 19) and a transfer by personal representative (R.L.7) in the name of Mary Wangechi Muigai, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Eunice Wanjiru Njuru, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect: Dated the 3rd July, 1998.
