THE REGISTRATION OF TITLES ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Benson Kiarii Njau, of P.O. Box 46757, Nairobi in ‘the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor lessee of that piece of land containing 0.0162 hectare or thereabouts, known as L.R. No. 209/8294/133, situate in the city of Nairobi, held by a certificate of title registered as I.R. 29895/1, and whereas the said Benson Kiarii Njau, has executed an instrument of discharge in favour of the Commercial Bank of Africa Limited, a limited liability company incorporated in Kenya, having its registered office at. Nairobi, P.O. Box 45136, Nairobi, and whereas an affidavit has been filed in terms of section 65 (1) (h) of the said Act declaring that the said certificate of title registered as I.R. 29895/1, is not available for registration, notice is given that after fourteen (14) days from the date hereof provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said certificate of title and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of discharge.
