THE ANTIQUITIES AND MONUMENTS ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Muiruri Karanja, of P.O. Box 23, Saba Saba, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as parcel No. Loc. 17/Kamahuha/2000, situate in Murang’a District, and whereas the senior resident magistrate’s court at Murang’a in civil suit No. 335. of 1996, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Stanley Kariuki Muchai, of P.O. Box 23, Saba Saba, and whereas the executive. officer of the court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed a transfer of the said piece of land in favour of Stanley Kariuki Muchai, of P.O. Box 23, Saba Saba, and whereas all efforts, made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land certificate issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registwar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land certificate and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land certificate to the said Stanley Kariuki Muchai and upon such registration the land certificate issued ¢arlier to the said Muiruri Karanja shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
