THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Njeru Thatu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as Ngariama/Merichi/948, containing 0.81 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kirinyaga, and whereas in the Magistrate’s Court at Kerugoya in Succession Cause No. E302 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Pauline Muthoni Njeri and (2) Peter Gicigo Njeru, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said administration letters to (1) Pauline Muthoni Njeri and (2) Peter Gicigo Njeru, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Njeru Thatu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
