NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Laikipia pursuant to Standing Order No. 30 (3) and (4) of the County Assembly of Laikipia, that special sittings of the County Assembly shall be held in the Assembly Chamber, County Assembly of Laikipia premises situated at the Laikipia Assembly Building, opposite Nakumatt Nanyuki, on Tuesday, 3rd February, 2015 at 2.30 p.m. and Friday, 6th February, 2015 at 9.00 a.m. At the sittings, the County Assembly of Laikipia shall consider the following business; Tuesday, 3rd February, 2015 at 2.30 p.m. (a) Communication from the chair on the nomination of the County secretary and the Chief Officer for Transport and Public works. (b) The Budget and Appropriations Committee report on the Laikipia County Supplementary budget 2014/2015. (c) Report of the Finance and County Planning Committee on the vetting of the Non-Executive chairperson, Laikipia County Development Authority. Friday, 6th February, 2015 at 9.00 a.m. (a) Procedural motions on the reduction of the publication timeline of the Laikipia County Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2015 and exemption of application of Laikipia County Assembly Standing Orders 117(1) to allow the Assembly to have more than one stage of the same bill in one sitting.
